We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Continuing Education Specialist at Wharton County Junior College. As a key member of our Continuing Education Department, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and maintaining non-credit programs and courses across our service area.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of non-credit programs and courses
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, staff, administration, and the general public
- Meet with students, community members, and industry leaders to provide information on Continuing Education and non-credit offerings
- Manage and monitor program schedules and budgets
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program success
- 60 college credit hours and two years of full-time work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
- A competitive hourly rate
