Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in our 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room, ranked #2 in Lifepoint Health.
About the Role:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other medical emergencies.
- Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately, prioritizing care based on severity and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer life-saving treatments and interventions for trauma patients, including wound care, medication administration, and emergency resuscitation.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and positive patient outcomes.
- Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all patients and staff.

Requirements:- Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.
- ACLS & PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 month of employment, if not current upon hire.
- TNCC - Preferred.
- 1 year of Emergency Services nursing, AEMT, Paramedic or Military experience - preferred.
