About the Role:
HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a board-certified adult cardiothoracic transplant surgeon to serve as the heart transplant surgical director and lead the development of an advanced and growing transplant and cardiothoracic program in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the transplant and cardiothoracic program
- Work primarily with HCA's Medical Center hospital
- Collaborate with a team of experienced heart and vascular specialists
- Utilize the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of experience in adult heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and ECMO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Surgery Fellowship required
- Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas Medical license in good standing
