KW Property Management LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on building interior and exterior, including preventative maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems and equipment.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of general experience in building trades, repair, and replacement maintenance or handy-work. They must also possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to react and address emergency situations in a timely manner.

In this role, you will work under limited supervision to perform tasks such as contacting and scheduling vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies. You will also maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior, including electrical work, AC, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs.
  • Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies.
  • Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
  • Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations, taking appropriate action to ensure safety of yourself and others in the building.
  • Maintain an operating environment to achieve a satisfactory level of resident service.
  • Adhere to the preventative maintenance program for the community.
  • Routinely inspect building mechanical systems/equipment to ensure proper performance and maintenance.
  • Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, boilers, etc.
  • Routinely inspect common areas to ensure they are maintained clean and in an aesthetically appealing condition.
  • Report all problems, including items that may not be in the list of responsibilities, to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition.

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position, and days and hours of work will be set by the property and will coincide with the hours of the association. The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
