About the Role

We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team at Rinker Materials. As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in the production of high-quality concrete products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mixing and pouring concrete to ensure high-quality products.
  • Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds to meet production demands.
  • Loading and unloading materials and supplies to support production needs.
  • Setting up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Handling and moving heavy construction materials to support production and maintenance activities.
  • Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.

About You

We Require:

  • Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work outdoors or in open air environments, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of concrete production processes.
  • Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift, to support production and material handling activities.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently, with assistance for heavier loads.
