About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing organization and play a critical role in the estimation and planning of data center construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of estimators to develop cost estimates for data center construction projects.
  • Evaluate and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the total cost, timeline, and resources required.
  • Conduct risk analysis to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to management and clients.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to ensure competitive estimates.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead estimator in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in electrical estimate, risk analysis, project estimating, mechanical estimating, and CSA estimating.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of data center or semiconductor construction projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as estimating, scheduling, and project management tools.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
