Job Title: Utilities Maintenance Technician

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Utilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Utilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the excellent condition and functionality of industrial equipment and facilities.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections of chillers, air compressors, pumps, filters, and frequency drives to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and use schematics, manuals, technical drawings, and work orders to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians to complete repairs and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Arrive early for plant startups and shutdowns to ensure a smooth process.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers/suppliers.
  • Perform other duties as designated by the direct supervisor and engineering management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to read and use technical documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and outside service contracts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
