Job Overview

UDR Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team in Aiken, SC. As a key member of our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project, you will be responsible for developing and implementing estimating plans and handbooks.

Responsibilities
  • Review source data, including engineering documents, to identify scope areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Volume III Lead to develop estimating plans and handbooks.
  • Work with Supply Chain to write specifications and obtain pricing for scope areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment.
  • Identify scope areas that require subject matter expertise and work with the Proposal Manager to identify appropriate SMEs.
  • Select appropriate estimate methodologies and oversee the work of estimators and Junior Estimators.
  • Participate in review processes and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls.
  • Must have at least 14+ years of experience in estimating and project management.
