This position involves the safe operation of a tractor while transporting guests through the orchards. Your approachable nature, effective communication abilities, and dedication to safety will play a vital role in ensuring a delightful experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor or people mover to transport guests safely.
  • Ensure passenger safety by adhering to traffic regulations and driving with caution.
  • Assist guests in boarding and alighting from the hay wagon, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor, engaging with guests and addressing their inquiries.
  • Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor and wagon to identify any mechanical or safety issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper loading techniques and maintaining a safe speed.
  • Report any mechanical or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel without delay.
  • Help keep the hayride equipment and surrounding area clean and presentable.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to manage hayride schedules and ensure punctual service.
  • Assist with general farm maintenance and duties as required.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving any issues that may arise during the ride.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Prior experience operating a tractor or larger vehicles is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with traffic laws.
  • Ability to engage and entertain guests with informative commentary.
  • Physically capable of assisting guests with boarding and disembarking.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
