Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Hayride Driver during our busy fall season. As a Hayride Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor and pulling a wagon to shuttle patrons around the orchards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate the Tractor: Ensure the safety of passengers during the hayride by following all applicable traffic laws, driving cautiously, and maintaining control of the vehicle.
  • Assist Passengers: Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking the hay wagon, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, answering questions and engaging with passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor and wagon, checking for any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members to coordinate hayride schedules and ensure timely departures and arrivals.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience operating a tractor and/or driving larger vehicles is preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Safety Awareness: Excellent safety awareness and adherence to traffic laws and regulations.

  • Regularly Sit, Stand, and Walk: Regularly sit, stand, and walk.
