Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients struggling with opioid use disorder.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and monitor recovery plans in collaboration with patients to ensure effective treatment and support.
- Teach patients how to access helpful resources within their community and healthcare systems, and assist with developing necessary skills to attain and maintain employment and housing.
- Work with patients to identify how they are reacting to prescribed treatment medications and communicate any impactful changes with necessary medical providers.
- Assist patients in cultivating best practices for managing symptoms related to their treatment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Active, unencumbered Certified Peer Support Specialist certification required.
- Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, community health, or care coordination preferred.
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
