- Manage a caseload of patients during assigned shifts, adhering to the treatment plans set by medical staff.
- Utilize the nursing process to enhance the health potential of patients, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Demonstrate effective delegation and leadership skills in coordinating patient care.
- Ensure the efficient use of healthcare resources.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues and patients to facilitate problem resolution.
- Be attentive to the needs of patients, families, and team members.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- A valid California State License as a Registered Nurse is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related degree is preferred.
- At least one year of current ICU experience is preferred, although alternative training may be considered.
- Strong analytical skills to prioritize tasks and develop nursing care plans.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Ability to adapt to various software programs relevant to patient care.
This position typically follows a 3x12 shift schedule.
Patient PopulationThe role encompasses care for a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan is essential.
