Highway Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Highway Maintenance Worker/Senior. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our roadways and highways.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, tractors, and mowers, to maintain and repair roadways and highways.
• Perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing, to complete tasks such as removing and applying surfacing materials, and installing and removing signs and fences.
• Control traffic through and around construction and maintenance projects, and set up signs and cones to direct traffic.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, and perform routine repairs as needed.
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes and tanker endorsements is required within 60 days of employment.
• Experience in the operation of heavy equipment or a farming background is preferred.
