Key Responsibilities:- Utilize underwriting expertise to analyze risks and develop optimal program structures for new and renewal business.
- Maintain high-quality underwriting standards, including thorough documentation of final underwriting decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and customers to drive growth and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop effective growth strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform product development recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Underwriting experience preferred.
- Deal-Making and Negotiation: Proven ability to find creative solutions that balance insured and producer needs.
- Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of Chubb products, competitors, customers, and marketplace within dedicated area of expertise.
- Distribution Management: Ability to build strong agency relationships and manage expectations under changing market conditions.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate underwriting strategy, appetite, and capabilities.
