Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5PM to 12AM Midnight, with additional hours and/or weekend hours required on occasion

Position Summary:

The Floor Maintenance Specialist is responsible for providing consistent and effective service comprising of hard surface floor care, carpet care, window cleaning, general cleaning, and post-construction services, ground maintenance, and lighting as assigned by the Specialty Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, routine, periodic, and emergency janitorial services as directed by Account Supervisors, Site leads, and/or Area Manager with assigned areas and/or facilities
  • Services include, but are not limited to:
    • General surface wet and dry cleaning
    • Sweep interior/exterior surfaces
    • Wet and/or dry mopping
    • Vacuum carpeted and hard surface flooring
    • Clean restroom fixtures and surfaces
    • Dust of horizontal and vertical surfaces
    • Wet clean, dust glass surfaces and frames
    • Empty trash receptacles
    • Collecting/removal of recycle items
    • Police interior/exterior areas
    • Sweep and mop floors
    • Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
    • Clean or shampoo carpets
    • Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
    • Maintain equipment and supplies
    • Follow workplace safety standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical stamina
  • Attention to detail
