POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at L&T Technology Services. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our electronic products through comprehensive validation processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish validation strategies for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and subsystems.
  • Design and oversee detailed testing protocols for PCBs, modules, subsystems, and final assembly testing processes.
  • Ensure validation encompasses a variety of interfaces, including but not limited to I2C, I2S, SPI, MIPI DSI, CSI, CPHY, USB, and PCIe, while also assessing subsystem performance.
  • Lead validation initiatives to align with project timelines and goals.
  • Draft validation test plans, procedures, and performance targets.
  • Conduct hardware setup, provide bench testing support, and troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Analyze and report on validation outcomes, ensuring clarity and accuracy in results.
  • Monitor coverage metrics and address identified issues.
  • Assist in system setup and debugging activities.
  • Communicate effectively regarding testing strategies and results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical System Verification within the consumer electronics sector.
  • Proven track record in formulating validation test plans.
  • Demonstrated ownership of key electrical validation domains.
  • Experience with benchtop electrical validation techniques.
  • Proficient in utilizing laboratory equipment and interpreting board schematics.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and LabView for data analysis and automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Self-driven with a collaborative mindset.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in board-level and system-level validation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of wearable technology and compact consumer electronics.
  • Background in firmware validation.
  • Expertise in power electronics and high-speed signal validation.
  • Familiarity with programming in Python, LabView, C#, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with a variety of testing instruments.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is a plus.
