Job Description

Pacific Autism Center for Education is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in improving the quality of life for students with autism, ages 6-22.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech-language pathology, including knowledge of language, speech, and hearing services. Experience working with autism and other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.

We offer a competitive annual salary of around $95,000 - $115,000 and a dynamic work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings and assessments to determine student goals
  • Prepare comprehensive assessment reports
  • Participate in IEP goal development and implementation
  • Collaborate with teachers on follow-through activities for students within their caseload

Requirements

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • California Credential
  • At least 1 year experience working with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of AAC and/or visual structures preferred
