MRI Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MRI Radiology Technologist to join our team at SIMEDHealth in Ocala and Lady Lake, FL.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI, CT, and other radiographic exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. They will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, and reviewing maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality MRI, CT, and radiographic exams per MD orders
- Monitor film badges monthly to ensure employee safety
- Assist in obtaining radiography reports and ensure they are entered into the patient's electronic medical record
- Order and stock required supplies
- Review equipment maintenance schedules and request service as needed
- Ensure patient and staff safety policies and procedures are observed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- AA/AS degree preferred
- Current Florida general radiographer license required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) or American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) certification/license preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a radiology/imaging department, medical office, or hospital setting
