Peak Resources is offering sign-on bonuses for nurses hired within our organization; $3,000 for part-time nurses and up to $7,000 for full-time nurses. (Conditions apply)
Available Shifts:
• 7a-3p Monday - Friday
• 3p-11p Monday - Friday
• 11p-7a Monday - Friday
• Weekend Baylor 12-hour shifts
Primary Role Responsibilities:
The Nurse Care Specialist directs day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and regulations, complies with all written policies and procedures, and guidelines that govern our long-term care facility.
The Nurse Care Specialist is responsible for:
• Initiating and implementing healthcare plans
• Directing nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and regulations
• Complying with all written policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements:
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a nurse in this state
• Current BLS CPR certification, including in-person skills assessment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
Preferred Experience:
• One to two (1-2) years of nursing experience in a hospital or nursing facility
