Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Builders First Source. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle and/or truck-trailer combination to transport materials to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a vehicle weighing 26,000 lbs. or greater GVWR, or a vehicle 26,000 lbs. or greater towing a trailer that may exceed 10,000 lbs.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials at customer sites
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Excellent driving record and ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
