Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing Speech-Language Therapy services for patients according to standards of practice of the profession, laws governing practice by the State of Ohio, and facility and department policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team to maximize functional outcomes for the patient
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in Speech-Language Pathology

Requirements:

  • Graduate Degree (Masters) in Speech Language Pathology
  • State of Ohio license in good standing with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association or a conditional license (CFY) under a supervised Professional Experience Plan approved by the Ohio Board
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
