Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a vital member of our team, you will be dedicated to delivering an exceptional Guest Care experience while supporting the sales of automotive repair services and tires. Your role is crucial in fostering business growth through effective sales presentations and a deep understanding of our products and services. You will engage with customers over the phone and in-store, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued during their visit.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $17.00, with potential for additional earnings based on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the comprehensive training program to master the Mr. Tire sales process.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, engaging them, scheduling appointments, and building trust while understanding their needs.
  • Assist in various customer care functions, including work order completion and register operations, under management guidance.
  • Act as a secondary key carrier, responsible for essential opening and closing tasks.
  • Adhere to all policies regarding cash handling, credit, refunds, and returns, while collaborating with management to address customer service issues.
  • Effectively communicate the full range of products and services offered by Mr. Tire.
  • Work with management to maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure the customer waiting area is organized and inviting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are necessary.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately document sales work orders and explain services to customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • This position operates in an automotive service environment, with exposure to moderate noise levels and various environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to handle tasks that may include lifting and moving items, as well as working in diverse conditions.
