Senior Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at an aerospace manufacturing company in Corona, CA. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing supplier project management, supplier assessments, supplier performance improvement, and quality system management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform root cause analysis to formulate correction action plans
  • Lead problem-solving teams and modify procedures, production processes, engineering specifications, and inspection techniques to improve performance
  • Develop quality plans and manage supplier correction action requests
  • Understand customer requirements and develop process flow charts
  • Conduct internal and external quality system, process, and product verification audits
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the pneumatic/hydraulic industry
  • Proficient in root cause correlation action and Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, blueprint reading, and GD&T
  • Familiar with quality management/systems/specifications (AS9100, Nadcap, ISO 9001)
  • Knowledge of FAA Repair Station regulations and requirements
