Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team. As a key member of our survey crew, you will be responsible for leading and managing field survey operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate collection of data and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage field survey crews to conduct boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, photo control surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout.
  • Operate robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect data and information.
  • Maintain company equipment and survey vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and safe field operations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a survey crew chief or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
