Metal Fabrication Specialist

United Canvas & Sling Inc is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for maintaining welds on various items using a variety of processes, ensuring the availability and functioning of required items while prioritizing safety.

• Maintain high-quality welds on various items using manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, cement core drilling, sheet metal, and steam-fitting processes.
• Ensure the work area and equipment are clean and organized, adhering to safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

• Must have both mig and tig welding experience, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
• Experience working with both Aluminum and Steel, with the ability to operate equipment used in welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to take initiative.
• Must adhere to safety procedures, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
• Able to regularly lift and adjust items less than 50lbs, with a strong physical presence and stamina.

A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, with a strong emphasis on demonstrating excellent welding skills.
