United Canvas & Sling Inc is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality welds on various metal items using a range of processes.

• Metal Fabrication: Maintain welds on various metal items using manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, cement core drilling, sheet metal, and steam-fitting processes to ensure availability and functioning of required items while ensuring safety.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the team's goals and objectives.

• Welding Experience: Must have both mig and tig welding experience to ensure high-quality welds.
• Material Handling: Experience working with both Aluminum & Steel to handle a variety of metal materials.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate equipment used in welding and metal fabrication, including band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill, press, and chop saw.
• Instruction Following: Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Must have a good eye for detailed inspection to ensure high-quality work.
• Independence: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Safety Procedures: Must adhere to safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Personal Qualities: Must be ambitious, energetic, and quality-conscious to drive success in the role.
• Physical Demands: Able to regularly lift and adjust items less than 50lbs.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent welding skills to meet the demands of the role.
