Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one care to young adults and elderly individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
  • Transport individuals to appointments, outings, and activities in the community
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as household budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, including community participation and vocational responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable and responsible attitude
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to quality
