We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Assistant Shift Manager to join our team at Hollywood Casino Tunica. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for supervising staff and managing the daily operations of a designated shift.

- Develop and implement operational goals and objectives to improve performance and profitability.
- Coordinate with management to ensure scheduling and staffing needs are met.
- Assist in the budget process by providing recommendations and supporting compliance with departmental budget initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all team members adhere to department and company standards.
- Enforce internal control policies and procedures, including underage gambling and drinking laws.
- Maintain safety and inspection reports, conduct regular security post inspections, and prepare security incident reports.
- Respond to guest and employee concerns and complaints in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ensure security officers adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards.
- Interact and cooperate with regulatory, fire/rescue, and law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- High School Diploma or GED required; or three years of casino security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. The employee may be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke.
