Job Title: Project Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at Pendulum Staffing. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for the development of project design intent and the production of complete, accurate, and well-coordinated documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise project teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Direct and coordinate consultants as needed to ensure project success.
  • Adhere to company and client guidelines and meet deadlines within budget for each project.
  • Plan and develop architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Meet with clients and contractors to provide interpretation of contract documents.
  • Make design and documentation decisions using discretion and good judgment.
  • Assist in proposal and marketing efforts to secure new projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with building codes and industry standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of all project-related tasks.
  • Assist the project manager in establishing the project budget and program development.
  • Lead a team to produce a complete project document set and selections that meet the design intent and client's expectations on time and within budget.
  • Maintain knowledge of the company's projects and resources.
  • Maintain base state registration and professional affiliations.
  • Collaborate with other studios as required to meet project objectives.
  • Contribute to the overall quality and success of the project, studio, and firm.
Qualifications:
  • Registered/Licensed Architect.
  • Graduate of an accredited architectural program with a Bachelor's or Master's level degree.
  • 5+ years' industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, complete sets of drawings for complex projects.
  • Proficiency in software required to complete the project.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals and consultants to meet project objectives.
  • Competency in all aspects of design and documentation.
  • Demonstrated conceptual design skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

May directly supervise architects and designers. Responsibilities directly involving subordinates include: training, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and aiding in problem resolution.

Physical Demands:
  • Majority of time is spent in a sitting position.
  • Ability to move throughout the office either by walking or through assisted means.
  • Ability to participate in site visits either by walking or through assisted means.
  • No lifting requirements for this position.
  • Travel to job sites or meetings is required.
