We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team at The Westin Jekyll Island. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient food service experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Go-Getter Attitude: We're looking for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to take on new challenges.
- Flexibility: You'll need to adapt to changing kitchen demands and work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Reliable Transportation: You'll need a reliable vehicle to get to work on time and support the team effectively.
