Responsibilities:- Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure all china, glass, and silver are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized.
- Return clean items to their proper storage locations, minimizing breakage.
- Handle chemicals safely and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
- Wash and scrub all pots and pans manually.
- Ensure dispensers are fully stocked with paper, soap, and sanitizer.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in all kitchens and utility work areas.
- Wash tile floors in all food and beverage areas.
- Empty trash and keep cans clean.
- Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines and safety standards.
- Sweep and mop floors, keeping them clean and dry.
- High School diploma or equivalent, or experience in a hotel or related field.
- Flexible scheduling and ability to work long hours.
- Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Regular attendance and adherence to Highgate Hotel Standards.
