Key Responsibilities:- Perform a full range of routine and specialized Nuclear Medicine studies, including MUGA functional studies, exercise stress tests, pharmacological stress tests, viability, and perfusion studies.
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic studies, calculating doses and administering them under the direction of a physician.
- Calibrate and perform quality control on equipment in accordance with State regulations and WFH Nuclear Cardiology policy and procedures.
- Maintain adequate records of radioisotope receipts, use, storage, and disposal in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Receive verbal orders for examinations from a responsible practitioner in keeping with their state license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- ARRT with Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), or NMTCB.
