Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computerized tomographic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
- Prepare patients for exams, including positioning and transferring them to the scanner
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within our electronic medical record system
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of the scanner and surrounding area, and keep the room stocked with linens and necessary supplies
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400-bed acute care hospital in Brandon, FL. We offer a range of services, including a heart & vascular center, behavioral health center, and women's center.
