- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor at the pharmacy counter and over the phone.
- Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, including the guidelines set forth by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
- Ensure precision in prescription fulfillment by meticulously reviewing orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Offer guidance on medication interactions, potential side effects, and proper dosages to enhance patient safety.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding over-the-counter medications and health-related products.
- Process transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit, or debit payments accurately.
- Monitor patient adherence to prescribed therapies to prevent misuse or adverse interactions.
- Manage inventory by ordering and storing pharmaceutical and medical supplies appropriately.
- Maintain comprehensive records, including patient profiles and controlled substance logs, to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Provide specialized care services for chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and optimize medication regimens, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Prepare and dispense medications as directed by healthcare providers, overseeing compounding activities when necessary.
- Engage in health promotion initiatives, educating customers on nutrition and the use of health monitoring devices.
- Refer patients to other healthcare specialists when necessary for comprehensive care.
- Develop and uphold procedures for the safe mixing, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals, in line with legal and policy standards.
