We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at First Division Consulting. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Dye Penetrant Testing: Conduct dye penetrant testing on weapons systems using specialized equipment to ensure their safety and functionality.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Independently provide technical guidance and assistance on assigned weapons systems, investigating and resolving problems related to their repair.
- Perform Maintenance and Calibration: Perform corrective and preventative maintenance, alignment, and calibration for automated test systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Utilize Electronic Concepts: Utilize knowledge of electronic concepts, principles, practices, and techniques in the operation, troubleshooting, alignment, repair, and maintenance of test systems necessary to support a full range of projects concerned with producing, overhauling, or testing of air launched weapons systems.
- Modify Test Systems: Perform modifications of test systems, subsystems, support equipment, and software to meet the needs of our clients.
- Support Departmental Tasks: Assist the department with other duties as needed, such as clerical and administrative tasks.
- Explosive Handler Certification: Contractor must complete an Explosive Handler & Explosive Material Handling Equipment Operator 721 physical exam and meet the minimum functional requirements as marked on Form OMB No. 3206 – 0250 Part B by NWSY OCC HEALTH.
- Nondestructive Testing Certification: Must be qualified and certified for nondestructive testing and inspection in accordance with the National Aerospace Standard and the ANSI/ANST.
- Specialized Experience: A minimum of 10 years specialized experience related to electronics and electronic air launched weapons systems.
- Complex Technical Data Analysis: Must have knowledge of how to reduce complex interrelated technical engineering data to an assessable form, conduct subsequent analysis/assessment, draw conclusions, and make recommendations in a readily understandable form for systems with complex technical interfaces.
- Modification and Maintenance: Must have the ability to perform modifications of test systems, subsystems, support equipment, and software.
- AN/DSM 156 and AN/DSM 152 Knowledge: Must have knowledge of the concept, principles, practices, and techniques involved in the operation, troubleshooting, alignment, repair, and maintenance of the AN/DSM 156 and the AN/DSM 152.
- Secret Security Clearance: Must achieve and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Hazardous Materials Handling: Must have the ability to work safely with Hazardous Materials in the performance of general duties.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific Vision Abilities: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to Moderate Lifting: Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Predictable Attendance: Regular, predictable attendance is required.
