About the Position: The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage, Alaska, is pleased to present an opening for a Rheumatology Specialist.

Facility Overview: ANMC operates as a Level II Trauma Center, serving as the primary referral hub for Alaska Native and American Indian populations throughout the state.

Practice Environment: With over 30 medical specialties, ANMC offers a comprehensive range of acute and primary care services. The unique patient demographic, stunning landscapes, and collaborative team environment create an exceptional practice opportunity. As a Rheumatology Specialist, your role will involve managing outpatient care and providing consultations for adult inpatients.

Work Schedule: The clinic primarily operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, offering flexibility with either 4 x 10 hour shifts or 5 x 8 hour shifts, allowing you to see between 8 to 14 patients daily. There is no after-hours call required for clinic duties. You will have the opportunity to perform joint injections, joint aspirations, and utilize bedside MSK ultrasound.

Field Clinics: The position includes participation in 6 field clinics annually across various regions of Alaska, providing a chance to experience the state's natural beauty.
