Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Select and operate CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
  • Position patients comfortably and safely for imaging procedures, ensuring modesty and minimizing discomfort.
  • Administer contrast media and other substances as needed for imaging procedures.
  • Document patient information, exam results, and other relevant data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
Requirements
  • Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited institution.
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
