Salary: $22.15/hour + shift differential

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is committed to delivering top-notch patient care. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel to provide direct resident care duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other essential tasks, as needed.
  • Change bed linen and maintain resident room supplies in a regular and efficient manner.
  • Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
  • Record vital signs, weights, measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other relevant information.
  • Routinely turn and position residents as necessary, observing for changes in condition and reporting to the Charge Nurse.
  • Participate in collecting data for the MDS and plan of care, providing input for development.
  • Ensure adequate hydration for residents at regular intervals, meeting individual needs.
  • Prepare residents for meals, transporting them to the dining room or assisting with self-help devices.
  • Keep accurate records of food intake and output, as directed.
  • Monitor ventilation, temperature, light, and noise control, taking TPR, blood pressure, weighing, and other vital signs as assigned.
  • Promptly respond to call lights and address other resident needs.
  • Assist in orienting and training new staff members, as requested.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current NY state CNA certification.
  • At least 6 months of CNA experience.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Professionalism, maintaining confidentiality, and excellent customer service orientation.
