Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our household staff as a part-time household assistant. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our 5,500-square-foot home, as well as providing occasional assistance with childcare and pet care.

Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping: General house cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, etc.
  • Dishwashing: Loading and unloading the dishwasher
  • Laundry: Washing, folding, and organizing family laundry, including changing linens and making beds
  • Pet Care: Occasional dog walking and pet care, if needed
  • Childcare: School pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as occasional assistance with childcare

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in housekeeping, especially in large homes
  • Childcare: Minimal childcare is needed, but must love interacting with children
  • Pet Care: Comfortable with pet care, if needed
  • Driving: Possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
  • Languages: Must be able to communicate well in English; Mandarin is a plus, but not required
  • References: Minimum of 2 references
  • Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire

About Our Family:

We are a family-oriented household where both parents work full-time and value our family time when we are home. We need extra hands to help with housekeeping and safely driving our kids to and from school and aftercare activities. The ideal candidate could be someone seeking a second job or someone flexible to work part-time.
