Physician - Optometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our Ophthalmology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

• Diagnose and manage complex eye conditions, including keratoconus, Fuch's Dystrophy, and ocular inflammatory and infectious conditions.
• Assist in the preoperative assessment and long-term post-operative care of patients undergoing Lasik, cataract, Crosslinking, and corneal transplant procedures.
• Fit specialty contact lenses for patients with keratoconus and post-PKP patients.
• Manage medication prescriptions and work closely with MD partners to gain a depth of knowledge related to the medical management of anterior segment pathology.
