Position Overview

The Sandwich Preparation Expert is responsible for providing a warm welcome to customers, preparing food items, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and managing basic administrative tasks. Exceptional customer service is a vital aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor while preparing their orders.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of menu offerings and effectively communicate them to customers.
- Operate the cash register to process orders, calculate totals, and manage payments.
- Ensure accurate financial transactions by following the Cash-In Procedure.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes in a timely manner.
- Monitor and replenish supplies in the sandwich preparation area to ensure availability.
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols during food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment, adhering to the 3-step cleaning process.
- Comply with quality standards and procedures as outlined in the operational guidelines.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.
- Complete assigned administrative tasks as necessary.
- Participate in training programs as required.

Qualifications

Education: Completion of some high school education or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: No prior experience required. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical: Must be able to work in various areas of the establishment and utilize a computerized cash register. The role requires bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift. Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
