About the Role

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, assist customers in person and over the phone, and resolve any customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales: Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, follow and achieve sales goals, and maintain precise work order files and formulas.
  • Product Knowledge: Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discuss available options with customers, and suggest ways to improve sales.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, stock shelves, and set up displays.
  • Inventory Control: Comply with inventory control procedures and ensure accurate inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
