About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Security Manager to join our team at First Student. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring the physical safety and security of all employees, customers, visitors, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reports and guidance to site leaders on security incidents and assist with investigations as needed.
  • Work with local management to ensure compliance with established security procedures and standards.
  • Conduct security reviews and provide guidance on new installations to ensure security systems meet regulatory and business needs.
  • Responsible for training and supporting the enterprise with security awareness information.
  • Complete duties deemed necessary by the VP of Security to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in security and business settings.
  • Proven investigatory experience and strong understanding of security policies and procedures.
  • Experience in critical incident management and awareness of applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Information security and experience with physical and technical security.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • MUST be bilingual in English and Canadian French.
