Key Responsibilities
  • Therapeutic Play Activities: Develop and implement play-based interventions to support the emotional and psychological well-being of pediatric patients.
  • Child Development Support: Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address the developmental needs of children, promoting healthy growth and adjustment to the hospital experience.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Play Education, Child Development, or Psychology.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience as a Child Life Specialist preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Languages: Proficiency in additional languages may be beneficial.
  • Advanced Education: Master's Degree in Child Development may be preferred.
