Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve intricate issues across various environments, including development, integration, testing, and production, particularly within Cloud One; addressing challenges related to infrastructure, connectivity, and application performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, utilization, and health across both production and support environments continuously.
  • Implement strategies for performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization to guarantee high availability and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Cargo and Personnel Movement (CPM) interfaces, ensuring their seamless integration within the broader cloud ecosystem.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining architectural documentation to comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and manage security protocols to safeguard cloud environments against vulnerabilities and threats, regularly reviewing and updating security measures to align with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to support cloud initiatives and resolve technical challenges. Document processes and configurations for knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for enhancements to cloud infrastructure and operational processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience and education combinations as detailed below:
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and other DevSecOps tools.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud service providers, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of cloud services and technologies, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience in supporting and integrating various web services and APIs, with a solid understanding of RESTful services and SOAP protocols.
  • Proficiency in using cloud monitoring tools to track system performance and resource utilization.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud environments across all stages.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing cloud architecture designs to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Certifications: (628) Software / Cloud Architect-Basic per DoD and DCWF.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with specific technologies or systems related to the Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio.
