POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the guidance of the Director or Supervisor of Oncology Services or a Staff Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in supporting patient care management.
Per Diem Requirements - The LPN must maintain active status and good standing by fulfilling a minimum of three shifts each month, along with one holiday shift annually.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
- Preferred prior experience in oncology settings.
- Experience in a physician office environment is also preferred.
- Must meet the criteria for physical/pre-placement screening.
As necessary, the individual should possess training and competency in addressing the unique needs and/or behaviors relevant to the age group of the patients receiving care.
