Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse

STGi is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide telehealth services, manage administrative and clinical interactions, and support Primary Telehealth Clinical Technicians in performing telehealth imaging and visits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide telehealth services to patients, including tele-retinal screening, tele-dermatology, and tele-wound care imaging
  • Support Primary Telehealth Clinical Technicians in performing telehealth visits and managing clinical, business, and technical aspects
  • Exercise judgment to perceive patient needs and evaluate clinical records to determine appropriateness of telehealth requests
  • Document clinical information in electronic medical records daily, with minimal errors
  • Coordinate with Primary Telehealth Clinical Technicians to open telehealth patient rooms, ready equipment, and establish online connections
  • Assist in scheduling, confirming, and coordinating telehealth services for inpatients and outpatients
  • Provide hands-on assistance to providers and patients during encounters, training, or interactions
  • Document patient reminders, clinical reminders, and close encounters
  • Perform a range of direct care duties, including temperature, blood pressure, and respiratory rate measurements
  • Provide general clerical/administrative support coordination work for the facility
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical experience working in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of basic methods and procedures for coordinating and scheduling clinical care via telehealth
  • Thorough knowledge of the variations in anatomy
  • Knowledge of telehealth technologies and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Ability to follow orders and work under close supervision, while demonstrating initiative and independence
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with proper telephone etiquette
  • Knowledge of computer functions and electronic medical records
  • Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
Education:
  • LPN/LVN from an accredited nursing school
  • Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state in which the LPN/LVN practices
  • US Citizen
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Required to respond to any medical emergency within the clinic, where a fast walk or job may be necessary to provide assistance.

Pay:

$19/hr
