Litigation and Arbitration Paralegal

A reputable law office specializing in legal services for medical providers within the No-Fault insurance industry is in search of a Litigation and Arbitration Paralegal. This position is essential in assisting attorneys with cases presented in AAA and state courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage both new and ongoing legal matters.
  • Maintain and update the case management system with pertinent information.
  • Draft legal documents, including correspondence and notifications.
  • Engage with clients to collect necessary records and information.
  • Organize and manage court appearances, dates, and conferences.
  • Work collaboratively with team members while also performing tasks independently.
  • Prepare and organize files for arbitration, aiding in case management.
  • Coordinate with both external and internal teams, including clients, medical facilities, billing companies, and attorneys.
  • Assist in filing judgments, enforcing arbitration awards, and collaborating with a Marshal to enforce judgments.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the firm's operations and case management needs.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in no-fault arbitration and litigation cases.
  • Strong knowledge of the litigation and arbitration processes.
  • Familiarity with No-Fault insurance and Worker's Compensation Fee Schedule.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in drafting formal and effective correspondence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, and MS Excel.
