Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing proper technique and providing clear instructions to patients.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
  • Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact effectively with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and adapt to changing patient needs.
  • Assist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards.
  • Accurately code and enter charges for imaging procedures.
  • Provide patient-centered care, adapting to unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and developmental needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's Core values.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
