Job SummaryThis is a per diem opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, documenting patient progress and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Set up and provide equipment and supplies as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 1 year in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- BLS and ACLS certification, as well as a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
- Strong technical skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Active unencumbered RN license in New York state, with a minimum of 2 years of current RN Cath Lab experience.
